When Conversation Matters
On the northwestern edge of University Park sits an exceptional white-tablecloth neighborhood bistro. The menu changes seasonally, but it retains the relaxed New American-California character that has been the restaurant’s trademark since 1985. Impressing even distinguished American chef Julia Child, for three decades City Café has been widely recognized in Texas Monthly, Food & Wine Magazine, Zagat, Wine Spectator, D Magazine, and was also recipient of AAA’s “Diamond Award”. City Café is considered to be a “Neighborhood Gem” in the Dallas dining scene.
Named one of D Magazine’s Best Neighborhood Restaurants
City Cafe has no rival. Simply the best food and most knowledgeable and professional service in Dallas. Always willing to go the extra mile to give you a great experience. An absolute must if you love good food.
As always, the food was excellent. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. Most of all this is a restaurant with a quiet, relaxing environment where you can enjoy wonderful conversation with a wonderful meal. One of our go to places.
Oh My - we moved away from Dallas and just came back to try one of our favorites. It is THE best restaurant in town. The service us beyond anything you could ask for and the food was amazing. We will be back next week.
